David Suzuki(Kris Krüg)

David Suzuki is a proud elder. He recently retired having started the science radio program Quirks and Quarks in 1975, then moving to television presenting The Nature of Things for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He traces his life growing up and working amid racism and prejudice and reflects on a world where our connection to nature is being lost, whilst becoming increasingly important. David Suzuki spoke in May, for the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre in Toronto and broadcast on Ideas on CBC Radio.
