Replaced ignition coils. Are these sitting in here right? Do they not tighten down?
Am I installing these ignition coils properly? I pushed down as hard as I could but it seems like there is still a bit of a gap. Is this how it's supposed to look? I can still twist them side to side with my hand. Is that normal? There isn't any way to tighten them down or "lock" them in?
I would also like to add that my dumb ass started the car with one of the coil wires disconnected. Sounded like shit but then was fine again after reconnecting. Could this have caused any damage? Last edited by romnation; 06-12-2018 at 03:12 PM.. |

Push them in until you feel a little pop. After that you're good.

I don't know if this applies to you, but I was emailed this when I purchased new Bosch coil packs.
