The Code Monkey (Simia codica) is a monster that obsessively works to create and perfect computer applications.
General Characteristics
The Code Monkey dwells in damp and unhygienic places surrounded by instant ramen wrappers and energy drink cans. Scholars believe that it lives this way as a kind of habitual armor due to its poor strength. (Even the smallest sneeze can cause a nosebleed in weaker Code Monkeys). A Code Monkey's "nest" will often also contain:
- A router with fiber optic and Cat 6 ethernet cables sticking
- A small server running some version of Linux
- A large desk populated with various computers running different operating systems
- A whiteboard with scribbles on it resembling some sort of algorithm.
