Chia Pets

Hello and Happy New Year. Did you all have a wonderful Christmas and New years? We sure did. In fact, I’m in denial that the holidays are over and I still have my Christmas tree up. Yup! Who cares if we’re already half way through January? Not me! Who else is with me and still has their Christmas tree up? Anybody? Well I can see that my neighbors still have their tree up so I know for a fact that I’m not the only one. Ha!

So my son, Jaxon gave me a fun Christmas present and I thought it was too cute not to share it with you. He got me this Baby Yoda Chia Pet because we love to watch The Mandalorian as a family and Baby Yoda is my favorite part. So when Jax saw this Baby Yoda Chia Pet at Walgreens while doing his Christmas shopping He knew right away that he had to get it for me because he just knew that I would Love it! And he was right.

This isn’t our first Chia Pet. In fact once I got my baby Yoda Chia seedlings started, Jax decided to get out his Baby Groot Chia planter that he got for Christmas a few years ago so that he could get it planted again. This is something that is so cool about Chia Pets is that you can re-plant them over and over again.

Arn’t these fun? I get a kick out of watching them grow everyday that I just had to take some pictures and share them with you.

To help them grow, I placed the Chia Pets under the Mini Greenhouse Terarriam that I made out of dollar store picture frames.

Find my DIY Greenhouse Terrarium using Picture frames Tutorial HERE

I made this Terrarium years ago out of dollar store picture frames, hot glue and white duct tape and it’s still holding up great!

Have you ever grown a Chia Pet before? They are tons of fun for kids and grownups.

I searched a little online and found some Chia Pets so that if you would like to grow one for yourself then these are some great options. Chia Pets also make great gifts too.

This blog post may seem a little random, but I want to start sharing more of the little things in life that bring me joy and hopefully I can inspire you as well.  Because Life really is about the little things.

Thanks for stopping by today,

Emily
