Gulab Jamun Trifle

Description

Grab your spoons and dig in, this biscoff cookies, Gulab Jamun trifle is to die for! Not to mention its a no bake dessert and no stove top required! Comes together so quickly and can be made ahead of time too.


Ingredients

Scale

Vanilla whipped cream

  • 1 8oz heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup powered sugar
  • ½ tbsp vanilla extract

Biscoff crumble

  • 1 8oz biscoff cookies
  • ¼ cup butter melted

Gulab Jamun

  • 1520 gulab jamun store bought or homemade

Instructions

Vanilla whipped cream

  • In a blendtec or vitimix add the heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Mix/blend until you have a thick whipped consistency. You can use a stand mixer as well.

Biscoff crumble

  • In a food processor, add biscoff cookies and pulse a couple of times until you start seeing a texture like fine sand. Transfer into a bowl and add melted butter, mix until everything is well incorporated.

Assembly

  • In small cups, layer the biscoff crumbles on the bottom, followed by vanilla whipped cream and small pieces of gulab jamun, keep repeating until the cup is filled to top, Top with a gulab jamun and sprinkle on some cookie crumbles. You can add chopped pistachio for garnish on top as well. Enjoy!

Notes

  • I used store bought Gulab Jamun but you can use this homemade recipe if you like.
  • Make this the night of and cover each cup with plastic wrap, take out of the fridge 30 mins prior to serving.
