How to Grow Calla Lilies

Planting Calla Lilies

Plant in spring after the last frost.
If you cannot plant your bulbs and perennials right away, store them in a cool, dry, dark location, like a basement.
Plant them with the pointy end up in a sunny to semi-shaded area about 8 cm (3 in) deep and 40 to 45 cm (16 to 18 in) apart.
When planted in a container, 3 rhizomes are perfect for a 30 cm (12 in) pot.
Water thoroughly after planting.

Growing Calla Lilies

These bulbs will grow in any normal garden soil, but prefer moist well-drained soil and heavy feedings of organic matter.
