Kim Mullen Interview

Kim Mullen may not have lasted long on Palau but she certainly made an impact on several peoples lives, particularly that of a certain Jeff Wilson. Being portrayed as lazy wasn’t the easiest thing for Kim to watch, but post Survivor she has gone on to forge a successful and rewarding career that is going on to make a big difference in the world. Through relationship break ups pre-game to get on Survivor and connections with a past contestant that helped her end up in Palau, there is a lot to learn in an entertaining and insightful interview.

Kim started on the dreaded Ulong tribe and formed an early bond with Jeff, and the two would form some sort of ‘showmance relationship’ along the way. After Jeff left, Kim was perceived by many as being ‘lazy’, and despite trying to form an all girls alliance, she was promptly voted out of the game.

In our chat with Kim, she talks about it being a decade since her season, which contestant from Africa helped get her on the show, what elements she didn’t prepare for enough before playing, thinking about couples being dangerous but also thinking they could be successful, why a relationship break up lead her to being on the show, her edit being ‘frustrating’, why she would’ve faired better on Koror as well as what actually happened with Jeff, who she remains in contact and why the Jolanda vote is one of the biggest regrets she has from the game.
