Cymatics

Cymatics is the study of sound and the geometric shapes of different frequencies of sound. These shapes resemble all kinds of interesting things. These shapes are made by vibrating sand, water , or oil on top of a flat plate. The sound is played beneath the plate. These apparatuses are simply revealing the invisible shape of sound.

Cymatics can be revealed through water as well.

These shapes made by sound have a shocking resemblance to cross sections of DNA. It's no wonder some have theorized that DNA can be altered with sound.

These shapes often resemble Diatoms. Diatoms are a major group of microalgae, and are among the most common types of phytoplankton. These beautiful and tiny creatures may be the very first form of life. Diatoms so closely resemble Cymatic shapes that it makes me wonder if this first life didn't burst out of some holy invisible chorus of the universe.

Sufi Mystics especially revere and honor the mystery of sound. The structure of sound can be seen carved into their Mosques.

The Cymatics below were captured by playing a frequency through molten metals and using an MRI machine to see the shapes formed.

It is interesting that these shapes resemble religious symbols. Were ancients symbols hiding more than superstitious and archaic stupidity or are we to stupid to understand?
