It's actually amazing how loyal Mairon was towards Melkor. I really love this two, and somehow I feel sorry for Mairon because of what he 'become' under the influence of Melkor.
You are the best!
If you dont want to read the books but want something in your hands, you can read smaller lore books like Atlas of middle earth, Tolkiens dark powers, heroes of tolkien etc.
If you want nothing to do with physical stuff you can read the middle earth wiki's etc.
Or watch lore video's on youtube.
Small little text about Morgoth/Melkor : he was the original dark lord, created the orcs, werewolves, spiders and balrog. Sauron served under him. He is a Ainur (a sort of god, one of the gods who created the world of Arda, where middle earth is). Funny thing also, Melkor was greater in power and knowledge than any of the Ainur. Making him extremely dangerous. i will stop typing, this would other be a little to much text.
