Description
This is the largest starship I have ever constructed, so large in fact that it took over two years of building and designing to complete it (I had decided to create smaller ships inbetween as a break from this). Eventually the ship became too large for my laptop to handle so I had to request assistance from my friend r0b0t_PANDA who allowed me to finish it's construction on their vastly superior PC.

The Galaxy class starship is one of the largest classes of starships every designed and built by the Federation, with the functionality of being a floating city, and a testament to the Federation's mindset that in the end, diplomacy will reign supreme.
However this mindset would later change in the Dominion War, turning this family friendly oriented ship into a tactical command vessel, commanding and supporting large fleets of starships. First seen and featured on Star Trek: The Next Generation, then later on in spinoffs Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager, this class of ship is most famous for being under the command of Jean Luc Picard and his crew for 7 years with the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 D, until it's destruction in Generations.

The ship is built to scale by Space Engineers, (e.g. 1 block = 2.5m) requiring no mods, or addons, opting only for vanilla blocks at the time of the 32 bit legacy version.

The ship weighs in around 136,600,000 kg, the heaviest of any ships I have built so far. It is highly not recommended for low end machines (I speak from experience), experimental mode is required and block limits MUST be turned off in order to spawn/build this ship as it well surpasses the default maximum limit.

The ship features:
-3 hangar bays, 2 in the aft stardrive neck as seen on the show, and one main bay in the saucer section as seen, never on the show.
-800 gyroscopes (however modded gyroscopes with increase power are HIGHLY recommended)
-676 batteries
-1028 thrusters, ion and hydrogen, with ion in the nacelles and hydrogen in the saucer
-28 decks all pressurized (but not fully enclosed from one another due to various stairways/turbolifts)
-saucer separation and reconnection (this is possible just don't do this while warping)
-battle-bridge on deck 10 of the stardrive, can also be used to control the stardrive section if the saucer section is separated
-emergency “turbolift” from bridge to battle-bridge
-A ready room for captains on the bridge
-Observation lounge on deck 1.5 or just behind the bridge to discuss or sip earl grey
-Arboretum (a garden) or at least the room built for a garden as seen on the show
-over 70 "phaser" turrets all connected to conveyors
-2 "photon" turrets also connected to conveyors (Weapons can be changed on user's preference of weapons, modded possibly)
-includes a captain's yacht (although not as luxurious as the name implies)
-includes a small "Ten Forward" towards the bow of the saucer section, although it's not exactly on deck ten
-ship's plaque & beacon to customize the ship's name to your liking
-Uses the "Prototype" naming convention that was first used here (but considering how long it took it actually appeared first in my Daedalus class starship that can be found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1563373441)

Updated to include 6 hydrogen Engines and newly refitted saucer hydrogen thrusters which in theory should provide lift in atmosphere but could still potentially damage parts of the ship. The original ion thrusters in the nacelles actually damaged one another if thruster damage was active, this has been rectified with new arrangements. Since the introduction of the panels, the usage of catwalk plating has become inadequate and plans to replace them were deemed too costly as of now. Considering I have a beefier PC perhaps a revamped Galaxy class accompanied with a Galaxy X possibly in the future.

Things of note:
-There is no self destruct, with a ship this size it’s impossible to scuttle without having weak points already exposed (this ship is already referred to in canon as a glass cannon)
-Missing ladders (I made this back in 2017, and was running on the 32 bit legacy mode, so ladders didn’t exist then)
-The game's physics cannot fully handle the entirety of the ship as deck 1 through 3 seems to let the player phase through the floors and walls, (and I'm certain there isn't a phase cloaking device aboard).

That is.... incredible. WOW!! I never thought it possible to make a fully functional 1:1 Galaxy Class in Space Engineers. You proved me wrong. And you did it PERFECTLY!!! You should re-do it with the new blocks, skins, and interior blocks, that would be just insane. Incredible you managed to make this, awesome work!!!
