I get to meet lots of interesting and smart people in my line of work and in my hobby of famous movie and TV cars.
Eddie Paul is a pal and an amazing builder of just about anything! He was contacted to build a real life version of the cartoon recumbent motorcycle seen in the AKIRA for a Kanye West Video. Eddie built it out of thermal plastic, and installed an electric motor in it, but then was asked to remove the motor for the shoot.
Here’s a lucky girl getting to try the AKIRA bike out before delivery!
Below is the video, but warning, KANYE uses curse words in his videos! The bike is NOT in the video (who made THAT decision?) It may have been puilled due to copywrite problems? Who knows?
Even though they shot the bike it didn’t make the cut of the final video, kanye did shoot with the bike and signed it.
Kanye West and Eddie Paul talk over the details of the bike at the video shoot.
Here is the bike on the set with Kanye and a lucky fan!
The bike is currently set up for a motor and could easily (by a semi-skilled fabricator) be made to run again. It is also signed by Kanye West as well as his producer of the video! Please contact Eddie but only if you have cash on hand and are serious about buying this rare ground up custom-built motorcycle!

Maybe Taylor Swift might want one of those. Haha. But really, a plastic cartoon bike built for a video that was never seen in the video ? Who cares.
I’d be curious in buying the bike, only if I knew for sure that the Kayne West signature could be removed.
Seriously, who would want a bike signed by a talentless jerk.
not to mention this is a pitiful attempt at one of the coolest bike concepts, it looks horrible, design is way off. someday someone who actually has seen the show should take a crack at making it .
Cool bike how much
