Paintings by Eşref Armağan is a blind painter of Turkish origin. He was born blind to an impoverished family, he taught himself to write and print. He uses a braille stylus to etch the outline of his drawing, Armağan requires total silence to create art. Scientists who examined hum have confirmed he is congenitally blind, and were baffled by the ease with which he represents space.
