Canker sores can be painful and take 10 to 14 days to heal. Those two weeks can be miserable because you’re not able to eat the foods you want, you’re in constant pain, and you have a tendency to keep biting the area. Until recently the only treatment for it was over the counter numbing gels, which only last an hour or two at most. They also don’t help things heal any faster.

Finally there’s a modern solution! We use a specialized debriding agent (in the form of a liquid drop) to gently remove the damaged tissue in the sore. With the damaged tissue gone, the body is able to heal the sore naturally. The pain is gone instantly after treatment. It completely stops oral ulcer pain, seals damaged oral mucosal tissues, and forms a protective barrier instantly!

FAQ

How long is the office visit?

It only takes 5 to 10 minutes from when you walk into the clinic to when you walk out.

How long will it take after I get treatment for the pain to go away?

It only takes seconds for the pain to disappear.

How much does it cost?

Only $19.

How much faster will the mouth ulcer heal?

With treatment, ulcers are pain-free immediately and completely healed in 3 to 5 days. Without treatment the pain will subside around day 7, and completely heals in 10 to 14 days.

How does the treatment work?

It works by removing the layer of damaged and dead (necrotic) cells in the ulcer. By removing the necrotic portions the body is able to heal the ulcer naturally 3 times faster. The limiting factor for healing of the ulcers is the immune system having to remove these damaged cells, we take care of that part so healing can occur at an accelerated rate.

How many treatments will it take?

Only one treatment is needed.

Are canker sores contagious?

Canker sores are not contagious. Canker sores aren’t caused by bacterial or viral infections, they’re typically caused by stress, anxiety, immune dysfunction, acidic/spicy foods, or trauma to the tissue.

Are fever blisters (cold sores) and ulcers the same thing?

Fever blisters (cold sores) are treated with a different medication than ulcers. They’re two different conditions people commonly get. Come in for an evaluation, we’ll take a look and treat using the best option for your specific case.
