Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim’s breakout project “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” came to an official conclusion in 2010. Today, it’s been announced that the duo will return with a half-hour “Tim and Eric” special celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the show’s beginning. The exhaustively titled special, “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Awesome 10-Year Anniversary Version, Great Job?,” will air August 27 at midnight ET on Adult Swim, and promises “new sketches, familiar faces, and the same old ‘Awesome Show.’” Check out a trailer for the special below.
The duo’s dark comedy anthology show “Tim & Eric’s Bedtime Stories” has also been announced for a new season, which kicks off September 10. “Twin Peaks” star Ray Wise (with whom Wareheim’s worked before) is set to star, along with Rhea Perlman, Jorge Garcia, Andre Royo, Fred Willard, and more. Tim and Eric recently wrapped up a North American tour together.
