Jones Beach Concert To Mark 20 Years Since 9/11

WANTAGH, NY — A concert is planned for later this summer at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

The big-name lineup includes Journey, Wyclef Jean, John Fogerty and Ann Wilson of Heart for the August 21 concert, Newsday reported.

The Steve Miller Band, Gavin DeGraw and the Chainsmokers are also expected to perform.

Those who can't get tickets will still have the chance to listen as it will be heard on Q104.3 FM (WAXQ), several iHeart stations and the iHeartRadio for a special September 11 airing, Newsday said.

All proceeds will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which has been providing mortgage-free homes to families of first responders for several years.

Tunnel to Towers Foundation will donate tickets to first responders, military personnel and Gold Star families, Newsday said.

Livenation.com will put tickets on sale to the general public starting Friday at 10 a.m.
