Jennifer Love Hewitt responded to comments calling her “unrecognizable” after she changed up her hair, telling her Instagram followers she “couldn’t look more natural.”
After the “Ghost Whisper” star chopped off her lock locks in August and switched up her blond hair for a red bob, fans called her out and accused her of having gotten cosmetic procedures.
Jennifer, 44, set the record straight Sunday, sharing Instagram Stories (captured by Allure) defending her visage while using a series of wacky filters leaving her unrecognizable.
“So many people said I look different,” Love Hewitt claimed, before joking about the face-changing filters.
“I look the same as always. Couldn’t look more natural…Filters don’t change you that much,” she wrote sarcastically.
The mom of three was accused of getting plastic surgery after the dramatic chop, with one follower quipping, “More like Jennifer Love Who-dat?” on her hair transformation Instagram and another asking “Why did she mess with her face?”
Despite the negative comments, the “Party of Five” star insists she’s plastic surgery free and simply owes the transformation to a brow and hair makeover.
“I don’t usually do this,” the “Heartbreakers” star admitted. “But I’ve had a lot of people say that I’ve had a brow-lifting procedure.”

“I didn’t even know you could lift your brows like that,” Jennifer continued, before acknowledging, “The only thing that I’ve done is micro-blading.”
Hewitt also thanked Selena Gomez for her Rare Beauty Brow Harmony ($17), which the ’90s teen queen credited with lifting her brows.
The “Client List” actress encouraged her followers to “seriously let people be filtered or unfiltered,” and “Be good. Be kind. Spread love.”
