Ashley Earle — the former escort known as Ashley Dupré, infamous for her encounter with then-Gov. Eliot Spitzer — is becoming a stay-at-home mom.

In 2008, the then-23-year-old earned notoriety for her liaison with Spitzer, which ended his political career and later led to his divorce from wife Silda.

In 2012, Ashley started a family with asphalt tycoon Thomas “TJ” Earle and opened Femme by Ashley, a lingerie and swimwear shop, in Red Bank, NJ.

But the ex-call girl posted Wednesday on social media that she was closing the store to spend more time with her kids: “We have created a beautiful brand and a first-class shopping experience that I will be forever proud of. But as my children get older I realize that I can always reopen Femme, but I will not get another chance to raise and enjoy my children. So I have made the difficult decision to close Femme and focus my time on Izabel and Penelope.”

She thanked her staff, saying, “I love them and we will be together forever.”

Earle told Page Six Wednesday, “Running femme was an amazing experience. I learned a lot and built a brand that I am very proud of. I give a lot of credit to working moms. As any working mom knows, wearing two hats is incredibly hard. I look forward to putting one away for a while and focus on being a mom, a step mom and a wife.”

Dear friends, It is with very mixed emotions that i inform you of the upcoming closing of Femme. We have created a beautiful brand and a first class shopping experience that I will be forever proud of. But as my children get older I realize that i can always reopen Femme, but i will not get another chance to raise and enjoy my children. So I have made the difficult decision to close Femme and focus my time on Izabel and Penelope. I look back to nearly 4 years ago when we started the process of bringing Femme to life and although we made some mistakes, we learned from every one of them and continuously refined our brand and improved the customer experience. We made lifelong friends and were an active positive member of the Red Bank community. And of course we had some parties… We might need to continue that tradition still. From the bottom of my heart thank you to my loyal customers. It has been an honor to earn your trust. Thank you to our good friends in town. It has been an honor working beside you. Most of all i want to thank my girls. These girls are not employees, they are family. We ran this business as a team and they had just as much input as me and no matter what we were doing we had fun. I love them and we will be together forever. As we begin the process of liquidating our inventory of 2015 Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter merchandise please enjoy 40%-80% off of everything in the store! With Love, Ashley Earle
