Cole Hamels enjoying retirement with actress Rebekah Graf

Hollywood Hamels still has his fastball.

Former Philadelphia Phillies ace Cole Hamels has been linked to actress Rebekah Graf, who posted photos and videos of the pair last month on Instagram.

The first post contains six photos and two videos.

In two of the photos, the couple appears to be getting ready to kiss.

Two other photos show Hamels, 39, and Graf, 41, posing for the camera.

Three of the photos were taken poolside with Graf sporting a red bikini.

The post ends with a video of Hamels trying to remove a thorn from Graf’s hand, which explains this caption:

“He makes me melt like a popsicle on the fourth (sic) of July … last slide is Cole pulling thorns out of my hand because I just had to touch a cactus. Again.”

The second post contains one slow-motion video of the couple kissing with fireworks exploding in the background and the simple caption “Kaboom 💥”

These posts would seem to indicate Hamels has split from his wife.

In 2006, Hamels married Heidi Strobel, who appeared on “Survivor: The Amazon” in 2003.

But that’s not why Hamels is nicknamed “Hollywood.”

As the story goes, former Phillies slugger Ryan Howard gave Hamels, a San Diego native, the moniker after seeing the 2002 first-round draft pick wearing surfer shorts and flip flops in the clubhouse.

Hamels earned MVP honors in the 2008 National League Championship Series and the 2008 World Series as he led Philadelphia to its second title in franchise history.

The Phillies traded Hamels to the Rangers in 2015, with the left-hander leaving Philadelphia in style by throwing a no-hitter against the Cubs in his final start for the team.

The Cubs acquired Hamels from Texas before the trade deadline in 2018.

Following the 2019 season, Hamels signed with the Braves.

But arm problems prevented him from ever taking the mound for Atlanta.

Hamels announced his retirement earlier this month after failed comeback attempts with the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres.
