It’s all coming back to her now.
An “official” Celine Dion documentary is on the way from the iconic global music superstar, Sony Music Entertainment and director Irene Taylor.
Dion, 53, announced the news Tuesday, writing, “It’s official. We’re starting production on my official documentary. Looking forward to working closely with [Taylor] and [Sony] on this project.
“One that is very personal and will show everyone a part of me that they haven’t seen before,” she continued.
The flick is being made with the “My Heart Will Go On” singer’s full support. It will dive deep into her life and long career as well as her world tours and Las Vegas residencies.
The Quebec native shared a joint statement with Taylor posted on her official website.
“I’ve always been an open book with my fans, and with her sensitivity and thoughtful creativity, I think that Irene will be able to show everyone a part of me that they haven’t seen before … I know she’ll tell my story in the most honest and heartfelt way,” Dion said.
“Going on this journey with a legendary artist such as Celine Dion is an extraordinary opportunity for me as a filmmaker,” Taylor added. “Having access to examine her life and inimitable career, will allow me to create a multifaceted portrait of an iconic, global superstar, which I look forward to sharing with the world.”

The news hit the airwaves just a day after an unauthorized biopic about the singer, “Aline,” was picked up for US release in 2022.
