The 18 Best UGGs for Every Type of Woman

The fashion brands of the early aughts have spent the last couple of years in a slow death march: Juicy Couture, Ed Hardy, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and Kitson, which fell off entirely in 2015. Strangely, one company has continued to prosper — a comfy, dumpy, unlikely survivor of the postrecession crash: UGGs.

After a brief anti-UGG moment circa 2010 (of the “Ten Trends We Pray Would Disappear” assortment), UGGs came trotting back on the feet of this stylish quintet: Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kendall Jenner, and Sarah Paulson, who, I’m happy to report, wore them with a pair of Rachel Comey jeans on the set of Ocean’s Eight. And this month, Eckhaus Latta anounced their second UGG collaboration — the sixth luxury brand to do so in the last few years (Heron Preston, Sacai, BAPE, Jeremy Scott, and Y/Project — whose version is both thigh-high and for men — all have UGG collections of their own). Below, 20 types of UGGs for those who would like to invest in what we’re personally starting to think might be a timeless brand. (If you’re looking for slippers especially, see our list of the best on Amazon, too.)

For the risk-averse

For the trend chaser

For those willing to be weird

For anyone looking for the perfect gift

Another option for that same person

For the woman who wears her heart on her sleeve

For the woman who’s serious about her shearling

For the deep-cut hound

For the woman with no need for utility

For the woman who lives in her ankle-length puffer all winter

For the Vans devotee looking for a (furry) upgrade

For the child who needs a little hygge in their life

For one’s inner Paris Hilton

For the 2002 loyalists

For anyone, basically. These are staples.

For the monogram-obsessed East Coast tween

For the cold-ankled

And something for the existing Ugg owner, because nothing is worse than matted shearling
