• Barack Obama’s recent trip to Hawaii came with photographs of his bare torso and abs. Nice picture for a president-elect. Obama may persist in being accessible to the public, but whoever protects him should remember what happened to former Pakistan prime minister Benazir Bhutto. Obama too should treat himself and his family like all other presidential families and keep security really high. It’s OK if people only catch a glimpse of him. If the picture had been taken when he was unaware of it, then his security should be revamped as it could easily have been a bullet in place of the lens.
• When did Barack Obama manage to do his workouts? As questions go, they’re not the most pressing to face Obama. But they’re being raised just the same after a paparazzo snapped a shirtless Obama taking a stroll in Hawaii. Make that a shirtless, ‘lean and chiselled’ Obama.
• More Obama shirtless pictures have surfaced and he can be seen happily body surfing in his black swimming trunks. Is it just me or does he look charismatic even in the water? Also, he looks a little pale and needs a tan. Hopefully he will have it by the time his vacation is over.
• Being a straight guy, I can’t really say much about the photos, but the internet has been buzzing about it. But Obama is not the first president to be photographed without a shirt on. Others were Ford, Clinton, and Reagan. Obama seems to be in the best shape out of the three.
