An omnibus of the first of two separate trilogies featuring Corum Jhaelen Irsei, collecting The Knight Of The Swords, The Queen Of The Swords and The King Of The Swords (all 1971), Corum: The Coming Of Chaos was retitled (with minor textual amendments) from Corum (1992, itself retitled from The Swords Of Corum [1986], and that a retitling of The Swords Trilogy [1977]). It was revised in 1997, before later being retitled yet again (unrevised) as Corum: The Prince In The Scarlet Robe (2002).
It should be noted that the name Corum Jhaelen Irsei is an anagram of Jeremiah Cornelius.
