Final Fantasy XIV’s Next Moogle Treasure Trove Will Be A Bit Different From Previous Runs
Final Fantasy XIV is bringing back the Moogle Treasure event with a few slight changes from its previous runs. Traditionally, the special event had no set schedule and would run until the next major update came out. It’s latest iteration, however, has a definite start and end date with no update waiting at the end of its run.
Moogle Treasure Trove: Hunt for Genesis will be available from January 30 through March 11 and will feature an expanded set of challenges called the Mogpendium that offers standard, weekly, mini, and larger scale objectives for players to complete in exchange for irregular tomestones.
Irregular tomestones acquired during the even can then be used to purchase a wide variety of items from the Itinerant Moogles located in the lower decks of Limsa Lominsa, New Gridania, and the steps of Nald in Ul’dah.
Players will also be able to earn more tomestones in another special event in the future. For now, you can learn about the more recent one on the Final Fantasy XIV official site.
