Cyclopia is a rare birth defect that occurs when the front part of the brain doesn't cleave into right and left hemispheres. What do you think about it?

Most such embryos are either naturally aborted or are stillborn on delivery. Some cases of cyclopia have been associated with a rare chromosomal condition called 'Patau Syndrome' (trisomy 13). ... If the SHH gene is mutated, the result is cyclopia, a single eye in the centre of the face. Now im feeling shitty for the poor thinng....Poor baby😞😔

A baby who develops cyclopia often doesn't survive pregnancy. This is because the brain and other organs don't develop normally. The brain of a baby with cyclopia can't sustain all the body's systems needed to survive. This newborn has only hours to live.
