The first trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie gave us a small taste of Chris Pratt's take on Mario and of Bowser's (voiced by Jack Black) quest for world domination. In the second trailer, we get a better look at the characters and the film's plot. And honestly? It looks pretty fun.

Regardless of your thoughts on Pratt's performance — I don't hate it, sue me — you have to admit that seeing Mario get the ever-loving daylights slapped out of him by Donkey Kong (voiced by Seth Rogen) is hilarious. And what about the threatening banter between Bowser and Luigi (voiced by Charlie Day)? Or getting the opportunity to relive our Super Mario Kart trauma with a glimpse of Rainbow Road itself? Dare I say, "let's-a go?"

The Super Mario Bros. Movie hits theaters Apr. 7.
