Following the successful trail by fire of the Defiant class starship during the Dominion war, it was clear the hardy little warship had a place to serve within Starfleet. Prior to mass production of the vessel though, crew of the existing Defiant class ship's were consulted, and a number of minor tweaks made to the design of the vessel, to fine tune it for the various purposes required of it's class. One of the variants devised, was the Valiance refit, replacing the rear of the bridge assembly with more specialized security and secondary ops control systems rather than a coffee table. And Sinking the helmsman's seat slightly into the deck to allow others to see the viewscreen during engagements.

Based on the Defiant's bridge, this spin on the design is my build, for a number of roleplays. It has taken a long time to get to finally releasing it on the marketplace, but the JRF S3 (Ship Simulation System) Script package is finally at release state, and so I can put the bridge on sale. This system is an advanced combination of scripts, designed to simulate starship functionality and control in a more realistic way than existing options; where what you do, and how you do it with the various systems, have meaningful impact and interaction with the system on a hole. The warp core just got ejected? Good luck running all systems at max power, and forget warp speed travel. Shields are failing? Better drop them and take a few blows on the chin, in order to get them charged back to maximum before re-raising them. Science officer, sensor results have been detected, what have we got?

Most, if not all S3 scripts include modifiable configuration scripts, allowing owners to configure their bridge to suit their needs and desires. Readme files are included for most modules, however I have intentionally designed them to be as straightforward and intuitive as possible for users.

This is the first publically released product to feature the entire S3 package, so I would highly appreciate reviews and feedback, as well as any bugs found, so that I can improve and polish the package further.

Build is Mod/Copy, whilst most scripts, and animations are copy only. Config files are full perm.

S3 Modules installed:
-Admin tools: A series of tools providing detailed control of other S3 modules, allowing complex interaction for roleplay and admin control. Functions include, but not limited to: Displaying of images, text and blowing up things on the viewscreen. Controlling fuel and munitions levels. Generating sound effects around the ship. Generating incoming damage for crew to deal with. Generating sensor data for crew to find. Making the computer say things, and more.

-Alerts: Alert effect system, (yellow alert, red alert, etc).

-Cloak: Defiant class cloaking system, providing effects of cloaking device.

-Comms: Cross regional comms system, that can connect with JRF comms devices. Comms prop template included for creating NPCs.

-Engineering: Warp power and system management, combined with damage control and hull integrity tracking. Includes admin controls to manage whether the fuel system is used in conjunction with this.

-Medical: Medical database system, as well as roleplay crew medical scans.

-PA System: For when you need to make an IC announcement with style.

-Power system: Power simulation and management systems, so you have to decide whether you want to power the weapons system, or the shields. Or both if you are willing to sit in a dark cold room.

-Replicators: A food/drinks replicator is included for hourly crew coffee breaks.

-Science system: In character science data gathering results (results can be left in sensors for users to discover). Also allows abusive use of the deflector dish to emit various pulses and effects and firing of probes.

-Ship security roster: group and crew security access management system, to control who can do what.

-Tactical systems: Shields and weapons. Shields block and mitigate incoming damage, while weapons are used to pew pew bad things in the general vicinity. Careful of firing more than the power capacitors can handle though, or running out of munitions.

-Navigation system: Allows an in depth (and customizable) simulation system for navigation of the universe. Jump between systems via warp, then use impulse controls to explore the area more closely. Just be sure Engineering is providing you enough warp power to get the engines online.

Viewscreen- For displaying all the pretty locations the helm flies you too. As well as those bloodthirsty pirates wanting your goopy bits for desk decorations. Functions with many other ship systems to provide visual and audio feedback of actions.

Outstanding product, The mesh is just stunning how it SHOULD look. The scripting is a cut above very complex and immersive. Customer support is stellar! I had so many questions and they were patiently answered. Can't recommend this product enough or any of the other products in this store.
