I’m totally having fun with this whole fun food for dinner Saturday night. I love seeing my kid’s faces when I put their plate on the table. I love hearing “no way. Great job, Mom.” It makes my entire day!

I’ve decided I love my food markers. I mean seriously. Who ever came up with that idea is a genius. Because we’re having so much fun with them. Who wouldn’t love a cup of this hot chocolate in the morning?! My kids thought it was great. They thought I bought the marshmallows like this. […]
In keeping with our fun food theme we made these cute sloppy Joe cars. What do you think? (You didn’t miss our other fun food posts, did you? Octodogs and Shells, Aliens for dinner and our Squiddlers.) These were simple to make and will be a big hit with the kids. You will need: * […]
It’s no secret that I love fun food. I love making it. I love serving it to my kids. It makes me smile. So this was right up my alley. And it’s kind of Halloween-y, right? Kind of? This recipe came out of the cookbook Simple 1-2-3 Cooking for Kids. Ingredients: * Jumbo past shells […]
A friend of mine at work bought this amazingly awesome ice cube tray mold for me. I thought it was a giant compliment when she said “I saw this and thought of you.” Seriously! How cool is that! I love it when people see weird but extremely cool things and actually think of me. What […]
I was feeling pretty guilty about my lack of party creativity for my daughter. The necklaces were pretty cute and I knew the girls would think they were fun but I was feeling bad for the boys. Plus I have this whole over-acheiver thing that I deal with. I have a hard time settling for […]
To continue our April Fools Day fun food extravaganza, we have a simple but fun one for you today – Peanut Butter Potstickers. They don’t totally look like potstickers, but my kids didn’t care. They loved them. And they were so simple to make. Thanks Party Pinching for this great idea. What you’ll need: * […]

Are these the cutest cookies EVER?!?! Not to toot my own horn. Don’t get me wrong. I didn’t invent this recipe. I just stole it =o) But how could I NOT steal it, right?!?! After I saw this cookie on Raina’s blog The Garden of Yum I knew this was the next cookie I was […]

How fun! I will be doing this for Halloween lunch this year 🙂
TOTALLY doing this for Halloween! Fantastic. We’re letting our granddaughter have a Halloween party & this is perfect for the main course.
Erin, this is hilarious. I wish Halloween wasn’t over so I could make these! Next year! This is coming from someone who flat out has a vomit phobia and doesn’t even have children to make these for, but I think they’re funny/cute and my husband would be very amused 🙂
