      1 check-in

I stayed here for 3 nights for a work trip. Overall, had a very pleasant stay!

Check-in was a breeze. Rooms were clean and spacious. The bedding was amazing and wifi network was strong. The bathroom lighting was great as well.

Staff was so friendly. We were able to ask them for extra towels or anything and they were very accommodating. We were even allowed a late 1PM check-out complimentary. Fitness studio was well equipped although can get busy.

Location is great and very walkable to common sites and hotspots around SF like the piers and Chinatown.

      Would recommend!

If I could give 4.5 stars I would. Seriously this such a gem of a hotel. I'm talking incredible interior design, top notch service and unbeatable location by the marina. As soon as you walk in you are blown away by the super unique and beautiful elevators, as well as the massive sculpture... which though stands still somehow seems like it's moving!

As far as the room, I reallly loved the automated blackout curtains (though they needed to be manually finished as the motor needed some adjusting), the MASSIVE bathroom, the comfy King size bed and wonderfully automated recessed floor lighting. You can tell they really had the customer in mind as they designed the room. Though minor to sime, I was also was a big fan of the array of teas they had by the coffee pot. I'm weaning off coffee so I really appreciated that detail

The only reason I deducted .5 stars was that while I was dining at the in-house restaurant, I noticed two instances of unruly visitors causing quite a stir and using profanity/making crude gestures to staff and guests. To their credit, I'm sure it is quite the challenge and they did eventually get local PD to come assist. Perhaps some more security could be beneficial in the future.

With all the above in mind, I think this hotel really does one heck of a job in providing a beautiful space and comfy room while traveling or visiting. I would gladly stay here again.

Hey the views were perfect from my balcony facing the water, the room was clean and had the most comfy beds to rest in, and the reception staff were all very kind. The hotel lobby is massive in the midst of maybe 20-30 floors of rooms.

Overall I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt. I had to deduct a star due to their not being a microwave in the room and for not having a second elevator bank. My room was on the complete opposite side of the elevators and took me about 5-10 minutes just to get from my room to the lobby.

Oh Hey Hyatt Regency Room 920! It may have been the furthest room from the elevators but I didn't mind the walk. And the room itself was great! Very spacious with 2 queen beds and a small door that was gated off to the outside world but allowed me to have a gorgeous view of the water.

I usually keep the "Do Not Disturb" sign up during my stays so I can't speak to the turn down service. All the other staff members were friendly and hospitality. Check in and check out was quick and painless.

The hotel itself is ginormous and I can see why this is a hot spot for conferences that take place in the area. The marketplace was top notch (although they need more vegan options, or any for that matter) the bar itself was classy! We had a company happy hour literally in the middle of the lobby and it was like we had the place to ourselves. The flatbread pizza that was feature blew everything else out of the water.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency during a work conference, and immediately upon walking in to their vast lobby I realized I had been there before! When I was a kid, my dad had to go to San Francisco for a meeting and took me with him - we stayed at the Hyatt and it was just as awe-inspiring as a kid as it was from my adult eyes!

Check-in went smoothly and the staff was incredibly friendly; I quickly arrived at my room on the 6th floor, overlooking the Embarcadero with a peek-a-boo view of the bay. I unpacked, put on some comfy shoes, and made my way across the street to the famous Ferry Building, which was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Incredibly, this hotel is pretty much at the center of everything. The Cable Car and the streetcar all stop right in front, along with a BART station too. And there was always an Uber nearby to take me and my co-workers wherever we needed to go. (It was also an easy, flat, 10-minute walk to our corporate office - great location if your meetings or other plans are in this area.)

My room itself was incredibly clean, and I enjoyed the luxury of daily housekeeping service. I was able to enjoy the lobby bar, Eclipse, and made two visits to the tasty coffee bar as well. There's also a Starbucks right across the street!

The neighborhood felt very safe during the day. In fact, the area was very clean and full of business people and tourists. I did not feel at all uncomfortable venturing out on my own. In fact, I would love to go back for a long weekend and explore more (and, hopefully, stay here again).

Got to stay in this gem of a Hyatt for a conference in SF and loved so much about it.

      Pros:
+ Beautiful lobby and architecture with "open concept" hallways, plenty of places to sit, great bar, and truly welcoming staff. I had an early check in accommodated after a very long flight and was grateful.
+ Well appointed gym with peloton, treadmills, machines, and free weights area. I only used the gym once but was grateful to get a workout in while traveling.
+ Comfortable beds with sound machine included in the room.
+ Nice amenities in the room like lotions, toiletries, cotton swabs, and the like.
+ Stunning views of the Bay bridge and ferry building.

I would absolutely stay again if given the opportunity and loved having such a well-located place to "come home" to at the end of my work responsibilities.

Had a fab stay at the Hyatt Regency SF! I was there with my Yelp team for three nights. It definitely gives off corporate, financial district vibes which fits well with their location. There are convention spaces (looked like other companies were there too) and also plenty of spaces to work in the lobby.

There was a bit of a wait for my room so they upgraded me to a balcony room with a bay view - LOVE! There was a couch, desk, chairs on the balcony, and lots of sink space for tornado Sarah to use. Everything was clean, the only thing that seemed cheap was the shower curtain. The walls were a bit thin as I could hear what was going on next door and in the lobby, even being on the 9th floor.

I also loved the elevators. They have big windows so you can see the crazy cool view of the hotel interior / atrium riding up and down.
We also had a private happy hour down in their lobby social area and spent some time at their lobby bar. All great experiences.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a work trip and had a great experience! The *only* gripe I had was that my room was soooo far from an elevator and it felt like an eternity getting to and from my room. Other than that, everything was top notch.

The hotel itself is so interesting to look at on the inside. It looks futuristic, even. Some of my coworkers described it as looking like the inside of a cruise ship. However you put it, it comes down to it being very visually appealing.

The hotel also put on a happy hour for us in a private space which was great. Our bartender was kind and the provided light bites were good.

My room was perfect! Great size, comfy bed, and free WiFi. My favorite part was the view, which was a surprise. I had a view of the water and some palm trees and I had a balcony door that I could open wide to let in fresh air. Definitely enjoyed that part!

All in all it was a great stay and I'd book here again.

      1 check-in

This hotel absolutely shined during my recent work trip to SF! From the moment I stepped in, until well past the time I checked out, their service was top notch, the hotel was clean and stunning to look at, and my room was comfortable, fully functional, spacious, and had a great view.

Starting from check-in, i arrived well before my check-in time and did not request early check-in in advance, but already the hotel was on their game. They put me in the next available room, and held my bags at the bellhop stand until it was ready while I went out for lunch and exploring with some colleagues. I received a text when it was ready, and indeed it was. One of my bags didn't arrive with me and my flight, they also handled this, as when it was delivered I was notified immediately. On my check-out day, I also was doing some exploring, and they help my bags again. All in all, everytime I needed something, they were ready and willing to help. That's all you can ask.

To the room, I was treated to one of the top floors. I had a view of the bay from my window. There was a California king bed, couch and ottoman, desk area, and plenty of surfaces for things. Convenient plugs on both sides of the bed, and a sizeable wardrobe area that could hold all my shirts for hanging, and a shelf that fit my luggage laying flat perfectly. The fridge worked well, and ice was just down the hall. The bed at this hotel was one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced. I slept like a baby.

The bathroom was also big, with a walk in, glass sliding door, shower. Fixed and handheld shower heads with adjustable pressure. At first, it was difficult to figure out the handles, but I got there. Plenty of sink space for all toiletries, and plenty of towels.

I didn't make use of the restaurant, but we did have a work related happy hour there, and I thought their selection of beers were great.

All in all, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone, and it will be high on my list to stay there the next time I come to SF. The convenient location, friendly staff, and creature comforts within deserve high marks!

Stayed here recently for a work trip, and was blown away. It was a quick walk from so many things. The lobby and interior were stunning and inviting.

We were slated for check in on Tuesday. I received an email to pre-check in the night before, and received an email when my room was ready. Upon arrival I walked up to the front desk, and was quickly given my room key and shown where to go. After a long travel morning, I was looking forward to just laying down for a bit before the festivities began. The comfy beds and clean room really made it all the more welcoming.

My room was on the fourth floor (room 418) which ended up being on the total opposite side of the hotel. I wish there were elevators on both sides just because the elevators did get a bit crowded esp. at night when everyone was trying to head back to their room. But the view outside the balcony was delightful. You could see the sunrise beside the ferry building. (Keep in mind that the bells do chime every half hour during the day, so if you're trying to get some midday rest or work done you may hear them.)

I had a king size room, it was super spacious. The water pressure and temperature were great. I opted for no room cleaning during my stay as it was a short visit, but I had TONS of towels and toiletries already pre-set that it didn't feel as though I was missing anything. The only thing I wish I had (or may I couldn't fund) was a robe to wrap up in after showering. But even without it, I felt refreshed after every shower.

Every staff member that I encountered had a smile on their face, and helped answer any questions without any hesitation.

All in all, I had an incredible stay and look forward to future stays.
