This is a long overdue review since we were there 3 months ago, but we had such a great time staying there that I just have to rave about it. Our time in this B&B was definitely the highlight of our trip in Vancouver. Ann Spence, our B&B host, was so awesome!!! She was very helpful and friendly from the beginning even before we met her! Not many B&B accepts the gift cards, but Ann did! Not many B&B accepts babies, but Ann did, at NO CHARGE!

The B&B is located in Easy Street, and just like the name of the street, it was quite easy to find the place from the main street. From outside the place was just like an ordinary home, however, as soon as you walk in, you will feel so at home. Not only because Ann welcomed us with her sweetest smile, but also because her house offered warmth and charms that I've never felt before in other B&Bs. Because it's a little cold when we arrived, Ann quickly made some British style tea with some yummy Maple Cream Cookies. She also puts out some sherry in the living room and snacks all over the house so we can just eat them whenever we feel like it.

Golden Dreams B&B is very nicely decorated with many things from around the world. The Living Room is a blend of American-Victorian style. Her kitchen is newly decorated with Elmira Stoveworks country. All of the rooms are very well decorated with its own theme: Rainforest, Black Bear and Wild West. We stayed in the Black Bear Room because it's the biggest room they have so our daughter crib fits perfectly there. A little side note for this room is that you have to share the bathroom with another room (Rainforest). However, if you happen to be the only guest there like we did, then you get the whole bathroom and the house to yourself. The bathroom comes with a hot tub as well. She also has an outside hot tub that we could use any time too :p

Ann also likes gardening so she puts a lot of fresh flowers all over the house. She also makes her own jam and bread that she always serves for the breakfast time. Did I mention breakfast? Ann's breakfast is to die for! She makes almost everything from scratch. Her jam is organically homemade and so is her whole wheat bread. Ann was so sweet, she played with our baby during breakfast so that we can enjoy our breakfast even more. Since we only stay there for 1 night, she gave us choices for breakfast. We chose Golden Dreams Eggs with smoked salmon. Everything was just so perfect that we had to eat every little bit of it. Sam, her dogs, was so jealous that we didn't leave him any crumbs :p

I HIGHLY recommend this B&B! We wished we could stay there longer, but the one night we stayed was a truly GOLDEN DREAM!

Home to the healthiest breakfast in Whistler! Anne (the host) is a fountain of energy and kindness. If you like BnBs, this place is a gem. The hot tub is perfect for unwinding after a long day of mountain fun. About a 20-25 minute walk to the village. Free parking.

This has to be the best Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed in. It is everything you want and need. The hosts are absolutely lovely and very interesting (especially if you're skiing orientated!), the breakfasts are far beyond your standard B'nB- each day is something unique super healthy and very yummy and filling. The rooms are spotless and the bathrooms come fully equipped with everything you may need. The hot tub on the balcony is perfectly positioned to look out over the mountains and setting sun with a glass of bubbly. Each room has a different theme and all the minute details have been thought out. There is a very decent kitchen so you can prepare your own lunches and suppers and a very comfy living room with a log fire, post supper brandy and chocolates. There is always a snack waiting for you when you come in from a day out on the mountains. Plenty of room for wet gear, bags, skis etc. The most comfy beds I have come accross and proper pillows (one of my essentials!)
Nothing is too much for the hosts who are so lovely and friendly. If you're into dogs they have the cutest puppy.
Very close to the village centre - only about 10 minutes on the bus that stops outside the front door and drops you right by the lifts. Easy walk to the nearest food market and only a $8 taxi ride from the centre.
This is the best place to stay if you're anywhere near! Top ratings, thank you so much!
