Caffè Artigiano is certainly not consistent with their coffee drinks, between stores or between personnel. Sometimes very good, sometimes very bad with plenty of mediocre. This suggests a real lack of proper training and/or supervision.
In addition, I stopped by to have an early lunch around 11:20 and the selection was very sparse with mostly egg based breakfast sandwiches. When I asked if a delivery was missed or late I was met with a blank stare. Needless to say, I had my coffee and went elsewhere for lunch.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 27, 2017
Came here with my work buddy for coffee and pastries. I got the caramel machiato and a croissant. The croissant was very buttery and flaky. Just the way I like it. The caramel machiato wasn't like crazy sweet. I have to say it taste way better than Starbucks. Also it has a really nice picture/ design . The flower design.
Decor wasn't bad. It had style to it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nina S.San Francisco, United States5715291828Apr 15, 2015
My favourite location is still on Hornby but this isn't too bad, they are opening another location on burrard soon at lobby of office building.
This has pretty decent size seating with few outdoor tables.
The food selection seems smaller for some reason

This café is spacious with high ceilings, but also a relatively quiet space. The décor is warm and modern and the lighting soft, which creates a calm, comfortable ambience.
I was interested in the Artigiano Frap but the shop attendant told me they no longer make it. He offered a sincere apology and recommended that I get a blended iced latte as it would have a similar texture.
My drink was smooth, icy, milky and well-blended but it was very mild in flavour. The rich, strong notes I would expect from an espresso drink were not present, making the drink taste somewhat bland.
The bold flavour of the chai tea latte provided a welcome contrast as I inhaled the sweet aroma of nutmeg, cloves and other spices and savoured the hot, steamed milk.
I also ordered what Caffe Artigiano describes as "to die for" banana bread. It was light and spongy instead of dense and based on the salty finish, I deduce that one or two less pinches of baking soda would improve the taste. It contained a small portion of chopped walnuts and raisins, which were pleasant to bite into and added some variety to the texture.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Roanna Z.Vancouver, BC36510571440Feb 21, 2010
Oh beautiful espresso machine you look so lovely in this light.... strokes machine lengthwise. I feel your warmth my dear.... (it's frigid out there!)
Great layout, very well organized.... order at front and pay, move toward beautiful machine, chat with skilled baristas, receive high quality beverage of choice, pour in liquid honey or tonnes of sugar.
(This is strong stuff. You need sugar.)
Good shop for hanging out too.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mai B.Los Angeles, United States388119291Jan 14, 2014
Currently, I'm sitting here on my iPhone right now thumbing my review on yelp.
Really nice service people , ambiance is a little loud and busy. That is just due to the amount of people here, there's a wide assortment of people, loungers like me, group of friends chatting in Chinese, loners in business suits or on laptops, and couples .
Latte art is really fun and there's something decadent & fun about admiring the latte art and relaxing in a booth with a full brim cup with noise around you. Worth a drop in again!
There's no wifi offered by the restaurant , just a FYI !Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michelle C.Vancouver, BC5319Jan 22, 2015
I got the spanish latte because of all the amazing reviews. The spanish latte is a very good drink however if you want to sleep at night, i recommend drinking it early in the morning. I got the grande size and it was pretty big and i was extremely full afterwards. They do have 4 different size drinks but its only for specific drinks. Overall, i recommend this place if you want good coffee.

Great Americano and espresso shots. Good flavor and not watery like Starbucks. Love their bakery goods as well. A favorite coffee stop when I visit

This is the worst, most overrated and expensive coffee Vancouver has to offer. I even rank Starbucks over this. They may wow the uninitiated with fancy foam art, but the underlying bitter burnt coffee that they serve belongs in a gas station.
Other good coffee within walking distance: Koffie, Sciué, Mario's, Bel Cafe, JJ Bean... Pretty much anywhere else.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
