Great proximity to everything within whistler village, awesome desk service, complimentary snacks & drinks at the lobby, and the room was modern & clean! Stay here if you want to be right across the street from the nightclubs/bars/food.

I planned to stay for one night in January and Adara hotel offered the lowest price (although still pricey!) amongst all the other hotels for that day on booking.com . The room itself had a small wet bar area (mini fridge & small counter with a coffee maker & cups), comfy bed, chic fireplace & TV, and fancy bathroom with a rain-showerhead! I thought it was neat that they also had ski boot dryers built into the wall so you can vent out/dry your wet gear.

WARNING: expect ruckus/music past midnight since the hotel is located across the street from a nightclub !

This hotel was pretty nice. Great location near all the bars and restaurants. Room was pretty good for the most part, A/C was stuck on one setting and unable to turn off and on. Also no more shampoo left in the dispenser. Pool was nice and was exposed to lots of sun but unfortunately was very dirty. Service was good except for one of the women who was extremely rude and spoke to us and other customers with a very poor attitude, definitely not the type that should be working in hospitality. Would stay again if the price is right.

Went to Whistler in February and was very pleased with this hotel. It is a boutique style hotel and has a very modern feel to it. Our room was very welcoming and the added touch of the electric fireplace made the room very cozy. The customer service at The Adara is exceptional. Each staff member that I interacted (via phone call or in person) with was very pleasant and friendly. They were also very helpful with directions and recommendations during our stay

Location is awesome! It is super close to The Village and to the slopes. Just a quick walk through the village and the ticket booth is right there. It was probably a 4 minute walk or so (all flat). From there, you can take the Whistler Village Gondola up to the mountain. After boarding, we walked back to room to shower and freshen up and walked back to The Village for dinner. The Adara is very conveniently located and priced more reasonably than the other hotels in the same general area. Definitely a good deal -- we paid a total of $ 317 USD for two nights ($ 389 CAD). Such a steal for this hotel! This has earned our choice of stay for future Whistler trips!!

Whistler Brewing & a cozy room with an electric fireplace. Perfect!

You can see from previous reviews that this hotel is attached to the bar next door. Our room wasn't ready and the front desk clerk gave me the key to the bathroom. I was given the wrong directions and went into the space shared with the bar. Their bathroom was absolutely disgusting, throw up, diarrhea etc. This is not the hotel but it is connected to the hotel on the 2nd floor. Anyone can access that door. That did not make me comfortable to say the least. Then as we were waiting for our room in the tiny lobby area, I overheard a staff member say things were running slowly because the staff was hungover. I understand it was New Year's day but I'm not paying for someone else's hangover. While waiting in that tiny lobby, it was just chaos. I asked to speak to the manager but the front desk said no one was on the premises. So appartently their was no one in charge. I asked if I could cancel our room, answer being no. But it was such a terrible, sketchy vibe that we let Adara keep 3 nights worth of our money and went to the Westin.
The manager, Doug did call me the next day to apologize and say he would give me one night's worth of money back. That has not happened and he has not responded to my latest email. This place is good if you want chaos, noise, like to party and you are single and in your 20's. But if you have want a nice, relaxing place go elsewhere.

I really wish I'd read the prior reviews because if I'd have known, I would not have booked a room. Dinky little front desk with nobody there because apparently the desk guy works the valet too?
The rooms look nice in the internet but once you get in the rooms and start peeling back the layers it's cheap ikea furniture made with press board at best.
I asked for a quiet room and the manager says it's quiet. It turns out from reading all the other reviews that they say the same LIES to all their patrons that complain about the noise so please read other reviews with the same complaints.
I got into my room around 4pm and the noise was so ridiculous I called front desk and he plays dumb that it isn't usually noisy so I called him upstairs and he listened saying hmmm this is odd I'll talk to the management of the restaurant downstairs. He then tells me there's a private wedding party and the music will be shut off by 10pm and that this is rare. I asked if he had ear plugs and he pointed that they were beside the bed so obviously they have noise issues! I travel in hotels almost every week. This is the first hotel I've ever seen put ear plugs by the bed.
The music did NOT stop at 10! It turns out the prior reviews state the manager lies to all the customers saying this so check prior reviews. Paper thin walls! Super loud music! Can't sleep! Management is full of lies! Noisiest place in Whistler. You will get NO sleep. Young kids working valet and the desk.
Update the next morning after the first night: as I go downstairs another patron is complaining about the noise. I then tell the manager that the noise went on till 3am and I also told him that I read prior reviews to only find out there's a history of the managers playing dumb lying to customers about the noise stating it stops at 10pm. His response was very snarky and he told me that if I don't like it I can leave. When I mentioned if I'd get my money back he said not till the following week. Customers were warning me in the lobby and hallways about loud noise and rude management.

On the second night it was much quieter but still noisy but hey, after all, its Whistler. I found out the restaurant downstairs had a wedding that management claims to have not been warned about so in all honesty, I'm smart enough not to get upset with the hotel about this because it's not their fault but what I don't appreciate is the management playing dumb then having an extremely rude attitude telling me that if I don't like it to leave. So although I was staying 3 nights I decided to write this review the first night stating I'd update it as I am now.

The next morning the general manager politely asked to speak to me so we went and sat on the couch and he told me that he wasn't happy about my review asking me how I could write a review like that stating it causes unrepairable damage. I told him it could always be changed and reminded him that I stated I'd update my review as it goes along. Then he has the nerve to accuse me of having a fraudulent credit card and that it would be in my best interest to take the review down. It turns out the manager below him that I complained about told him this so he takes his word for it and accuses me of being a fraudster after being kept up all night. Fraudsters aren't Elite squad members with their photos up nor would they stay two additional nights risking getting caught. Good Lord call the cops then if I checked in fraudulently. I have nothing to hide!
We bumped into multiple other angry customers both in the elevator and hallway voicing their upset about both noise and how management handled their complaints. There's a review history of this btw
The general manager then offers to get the restaurant below to buy us dinner if I take the review down. Anyone can tell by how often I review and the venues I frequent that money is clearly not an issue for me. No issues in my financial department so I declined dinner stating we just don't want to be disrespected. We shook hands.
They charge you $25 day for parking and on the 2nd day I saw a mark on my truck so I told them I want to drive my own truck out of the underground and they wouldn't let me drive my own truck out. When I told them my vehicle was only insured for me to drive they refused to give me my truck so I told them my truck got scuffed and the guy told me I'm a liar! See photo attached. So I parked my truck elsewhere the third night. There is two other reviews out there with the prior same complaint too.
Now here's the kicker. I got an email from this manager stating that he's going to get to the bottom of the fraudulent card. Go ahead!
He states on my voicemail that it's in my best interest to take my review down immediately. He then states I'm now on the radar in Whistler and that he's got me flagged.
I will be back in Whistler as I've been doing for decades writing many nice reviews about other wonderful hotels with wonderful management.

Very noisy hotel! It is next to pubs & clubs that runs till 4am
You will not have peace or quiet or even good nights sleep!
Had to wear earplugs to sleep but still can hear the noise
Front desk staff was friendly & welcoming EXCEPT for the management team

They were rude, accusatory, argumentative & lacking in proper customer service when asked about the situation about the noise

It is in your best interest that.....if you are going to accuse someone of something you should have sufficient evidence before u bring it up or you look like the fool

      Will be contacting BBB

Good: Staff, lobby, size of room and price
Bad: Noise, cheap decor, cleanliness of the shower

I feel like this would be a great place if I was in my 20s. On the surface it seems great but the details leave you thinking this place is falling apart. If noise level at night and aesthetics is important -avoid this place. If you're looking for space vs money and late night outs this is easily 4 stars

We stayed at the Adara for Valentine's Day weekend 2/14-2/17 this year and had an amazing experience! Our room was on the third floor and we never once heard any noise from the neighboring rooms or from the nightclub downstairs. I don't even know what nightclub other guests are talking about...perhaps Buffalo Bill's? Anyways, no issues with that, or anything else. Our room was very clean and they up-kept it every day for us while we were out. The rain shower was great after a long, epic of boarding. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel lobby dog, Kate, made my day, every day! Such a sweetie! I also love and appreciate that the hotel is environmentally friendly, as are a lot of other places in Canada. Unfortunately, a lot my fellow Americans complaining below are used to pigging out on three towels per shower, burning electricity, killing way too many trees per day, wasting water, and being all-around lazy and unresourceful. If that sounds like you, then you don't deserve to stay here anyway! Actually, just leave this amazing town altogether. Go find your banquet template, cookie-cutter room at a Hilton and take your complaining elsewhere.

OH, and make sure you grab a freshly baked breakfast bar and cookie from the lobby! We LOVED the Adara and will 100% be back sooner than later. Thanks for an amazing and memorable V-Day weekend!! xoxox

We stayed here this past weekend for my birthday and it was enjoyable. The lobby was small and modern where they bake fresh cookies (GENIUS) and also provide granola bars during the day. It's pretty pricey but so is everything else in Whistler during this time. We stayed in a King suite and it had a gas fireplace, microwave, fridge and one of those boot drying things (life saver). Only issues we had were that the fridge was not cold at all, even after trying to lower the temp, the hallway gets pretty loud at times when people leave or come back from the day and, of course this isn't the hotel's fault, but they did some snow/ice shoveling right outside our window at like 6AM on Sunday and it lasted for quite a while.

This boutique, contemporary hotel is located right in Whistler village. The ski lifts are a 2 minute walk away. Restaurants, coffee shops, a grocery store, and drug store are right around the corner. They have breakfast bars in the morning and freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. We booked a loft which had a bedroom upstairs and a sofa couch downstairs. We even had a little lanai! Perfect for a family of four. This place was clean and modern. They had a beautiful golden retriever hangin out in the lobby most of the time. But, beware on some nights you may hear bumping music coming from the bar/club below. Good service, but it does take awhile to check in as there is usually only one person at the counter. They do have a pool and jacuzzi. They are also connectd to a restaurant on the second floor. Overall, I would definitely stay here again as it was so convenient to explore Whistler right at your door step!
