Canadian Shield
The Canadian Shield is Canada’s biggest landform region. It covers many provinces which are: Newfoundland & Labrador, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, & N.W.T. It was formed in the Precambrian era. You can find 2 types of rock there which are: Igneous & Metamorphic. The minerals that are found there are: gold, nickel, copper, zinc, diamonds, gas, and oil. There is not much farming taking place in the Shield because the weather does not permit farming. The land uses are: recreation, tourism, mining, and towns and cities in the south. The water features found in the Canadian Shield are: rivers, waterfalls, and lakes.
If you were to go to Churchill, Manitoba you would see lots of polar bears and beluga whales. What you can do is feed them. You should dress warm because it is very cold in the winter.
