Preparations for first launches in 2024 started at the Baikonur Cosmodrome

Baikonir. January 10. KazTAG - The employees of space industry enterprises began preparing the first launches of space rockets in 2024.
“Employees of the Yuzhny space center, branches of JSC State Research and Production Space Center named after Khrunichev, JSC RSC Progress, JSC NPO Lavochkina, and other enterprises at the cosmodrome began preparations for space launches scheduled for February-March 2024,” said a source.
The space launch program will open on February 15 with the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle carrying the Progress MS-26 cargo spacecraft.
Two launches are planned in March. The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-26 manned spacecraft from the launch complex of pad 3 is scheduled for March 21.
The launch program of the first quarter of 2024 will be completed with the launch of the Resurs-P spacecraft using the Soyuz launch vehicle.
In addition, the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a LV manned program with the Soyuz MS-23 TPK, which was postponed from March, is scheduled for February 20.
The employees of city organizations and enterprises also returned to work after the New Year holidays on January 9.
