The Spirit of Error

Hello everyone! The Spirit of Error is prevalent in the world. There are many apostate leaders that teach the people in error. Strange doctrines, traditions and commandments of men. There is a long list of of men who have started denominations. Denominations based on a supposed revelation received from God. Every man that came after Jesus Christ teaching a new Gospel is in error! The Spirit of Error!

1. Catholic Church, founded by Gregory the Great, AD 540-604.
2. Orthodox Churches, Emperor Constantinople 330.
3. Lutheran Churches, Martin Luther 1517.
4. Anglican Churches Episcopal, King Henry VIII, 1534.
5. Presbyterian Churches, John Calvin, 1536.
6. Methodist Churches, John and Charles Wesley, 1738.
7. Mennonites, Menno Simons, 1537.
8. Quakers, William Penn, 1682.
9. English Baptist Church, John Smythe, 1612.
10. Disciples of Christ, Thomas and Alexander Campbell, 1832.
11. Seventh-day Adventist Church, William Miller, 1863.
12. Assemblies of God, Charles Fox Parham 1901 & William J. Seymour 1906 (Azusa Street Revival) which also launches the Pentecostal Movement in 1914.
    

The deceived are many. I have listed just a few above. Held captive by the Spirit of error. All had some form of communication and or revelation from God, so they believe. This is nothing but confusion. Yet throughout the world these denominations have millions of members. All in disagreement with one another. Each claiming to be the true Church of the Living God. The Church of God, the Body of Christ has no schisms within it. Members of Gods Church are located all over the world. The Head of Gods Church is Jesus Christ.

The Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of Error

“24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” John 3:24 – 4:6 NKJV

Saints my short messages are to provoke you to study the word of God for yourselves. Be led of the Holy Spirit. He will lead and guide you in all truth. Let God be Glorified always in your life! Peace!
