How To Make Cua Bể Ram Mặn (Caramelized Dungeness Crabs)

Hi everyone! Can you believe we’re almost halfway through November? Oh my gosh time just flies by like so crazy, before you know it it’s gonna be 2023!

Today’s recipe is similar to the blue crab recipe I did with my mom in Florida two months ago. Recently, John picked up a big pack of Dungeness crab legs from Costco so I wanted to do a Cua Bể Ram Mặn also known as caramelized Dungeness crabs. We don’t get Dungeness crabs too often because it’s kind of expensive here in Orange County but why not live a little?

Usually when I get Dungeness crabs or any type of crab, I usually put it in the steamer, but I wanted to add a little flavor to it and we love using this recipe to eat it with rice! It’s very filling and I highly recommend trying it sometime!

It’s pretty simple. Most of the ingredients you will have it home already so it’s pretty easy to put together!

Also, in my video, I ended up transferring it to a bigger pot because the legs ended up being too big, so I recommend using a pretty big pot for this so you don’t have to do it I did lol.
