'Honda-Tech' 2006 Acura CSX Is Your Key to 5-speed Goodness

Ever wanted a JDM eighth-generation Honda Civic Sedan, but in left-hand drive? Here’s your lucky chance!

Current owner of this 2006 Acura CSX is parting ways with his machine and currently has it up for sale on Honda-Tech.  For those of you that aren’t familiar with the Acura CSX, it’s basically a posh version of the eighth-gen Civic Sedan that was sold as an Acura in Canada. While the Type S of the CSX is what most enthusiasts sought after, this particular example is the base model that came equipped with a K20Z2 mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The K20Z2 is similar to that of the K20A3 that powered the EP3 Civic Si and Base model Acura RSX (DC5), except that it’s down a little on power making around 153 horsepower.

1litterbikekiller, the seller – says:

“Great car. Needs nothing. Does not burn any oil. Always used full synthetic. I am the 2nd owner and the original owner has all the service invoices. Clean title. VIN number in every location and paint is original. Mechanical 10 out of 10. This car meets California emission, LEV II. Ready to be smogged. Mileage 200,000.”

No Burning Oil, Even After 200,000 miles

From what the seller mentions, the CSX seems to be in proper order. What stands out is the fact that it’s not burning any oil and the 200,000 miles on the odometer. A proper leak down test will tell the true story, if any of you so desire to try to snag this up. Besides the drivetrain, the exterior seems to be decent for a car that’s almost 15-years old.

The really cool think about the CSX is that it looks almost identical to the JDM Civic counterpart, a look that most owners in the States loved, causing many to do JDM front and rear conversions.

Other than that, the seller posted a $5,699 price tag. He’s not interested in trades, so if you think this is the one for you, be sure to give him a call or DM.
