Poppy, Corn Poppy

Heirloom wildflower, very easy to grow. Spread the seed over cultivated soil and keep moist and they will grow like weeds. They bloom in late spring and sometimes again in the fall if the weather is mild. Poppy are a short lived perennial but they reseed very easily. These flowers were the first plants to start growing again on the battlefields in Europe during WW I and became a symbol of the great sacrifice during the war. Approx 400 seeds per packet.
