MIKOLO M3 Smith Machine

While the gym arrived within a week the added floor mats didn't. Seems Fed Ex lost them so we had to wait another week for the floor mats to arrive before we assembled the gym. Setup was straightforward but we were missing the 2 longest bolts that connected the cable crossover pulling on the front. A quick trip to hardware store and I got 2 appropriate bolts to replace them with. We fitted this gym with 450 pounds of plates and a 1500 Olympic barbell. First time using the crossover system one of the carabiner broke and had to replace it with the spare. These carabiners are too small and need to be a little bigger and of better quality. Other than that we like it and my 15 year old son uses it for strength training as he plays football. He already squats and deadlifts 315 at school and he hopes to be bigger for next season.

Was a bit skeptical at first but everything was delivered in a timely manner. The machine and equipment all came in good condition. Was easy to setup with the directions provide and it took me about 5 hours solo.

Since setting it up I've been able to enjoy using the machine whenever I want.

Overall 5/5 purchase and experience. Highly recommend if you want your own home gym!

This Smith Machine is exactly what the family needed for their home gym. It provides all the stations needed for a full body workout. It is sturdy and can handle all the Olympic plates they have on it. Fortunately, customer service responded when we informed them that a part was missing from the initial shipment.

The M3 machine was purposed as an update for my simple power rack, and it excels so far. It arrived in 3 ~45kg boxes, with all the parts clearly labeled. The instruction manual was a little buried, so you may have to open all three boxes to find the manual. Have plenty of open space to lay things out as you assemble it. Assembly was generally a smooth process, with the manual being clear, concise, and broken down step by step. I was able to complete assembly by myself, however, the upper supports and pullup bar were challenging.

A point of note, however. The cable pulleys and smith bar conflict a little, with my needing to unhook the smith bar to move the pulleys up and down past the smith. I wanted the option of the smith, but its a bit of a pain to work around the smith bar with an oly bar. Maybe save a little and step down to the same Mikolo rack minus the smith.

Works great, it didn't take too long to put together by myself. Would recommend if you are looking for a versatile machine.
