How to fertilize Scindapsus treubii 'Moonlight'
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Scindapsus treubii 'Moonlight' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Help pls In August I accidentally left this poor plant in my hot car. It has survived but I’m not sure how to get it back to optimal health. The dark green leaves are no longer dark green :(

To repot now or wait? I got this #scindapsusmoonlight in a swap from @MadforPlants as a rooted cutting back in the spring. She was slow as heck to get settled once I potted her up, but once I moved her to a new spot on my desk with more light courtesy of a new grow light setup, she's started growing pretty fast actually, at least for a scindapsus treubii 😂 I've been wanting to give her some sort of vertical support system now that she's actually growing (and has the aerial root nodes to tell me she's ready for one), and with the roots starting to push towards the surface and out of the bottom of the pot I'm wondering if I should move her into a bigger pot as well? 🤔 I don't want to cause her to abort the new leaf that's pushing out right now, especially with how nicely the leaves have started sizing up, so maybe I should wait until that leaf is actually opening up? Help! (please disregard the yellowing, my RA has been bad lately and I almost certainly let her get too dry between some waterings over the past couple of months 🫣) #scindapsus #aroidheros #repotseason #rootporn #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #texasgreggang

Best way to use round growth hoops? Hi again! I have multiple potted plants using these hoops for trailing growth. The vines are long enough now to loop around again. Do you think that’s ok or do I need to chop them? This one is my #moonlightscindapsis but I also have a few #Pothos variants using them too. Thanks! #Growth

How to make a happy scindapsus? I have a scindapsus treubii moonlight that I got as a cutting from @MadforPlants a few months ago. She's rooted into her pot and is pushing out her second new leave in my care, so she's obviously not unhappy. But I'm a #plantmom overachiever, so I definitely want to make sure I'm giving her the best environment I can for growth. I know that these guys can be grown as trailing plants, but my understanding is that they would prefer to climb. What is their preferred climbing method? Do they like moss poles or would they prefer a plank or trellis? Do they climb like most climbing aroids or do they shingle (as I've read that scindapsus pictus prefers to do)? Help a girl out y'all 🙏 #climbingplants #aroids #scindapsusmoonlight #scindapsus #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #texasgreggang

Do I need to repot with new soil? Are these roots supposed to be out of the soil? Do I need to add soil on top or repot with new soil? It came from the farmers market like this. It also has some little moving guys (gnats maybe) in the soil. #moonlightscindapsis

Anyone know what’s wrong? Anyone know what’s wrong with this little lady? She is kept in a sunroom but not in direct light. I water when the moisture meter is almost on dry. I do see some new growth but unsure what’s going on.

What other plant parents say
This is my first scindapsus. So I’m constantly learning. So far so good. I had to repot because he was growing mushrooms (didn’t know that was and indoor plant thing). But care is fairly easy. Bright indirect light, water regularly, give a turn once in a while. We’ve already got a vine growing and I can’t wait for more.
