About Dracaena "Warneckii'
The protective resins inside this plant are in Dragon’s Blood, a bright red pigment, varnish, medicine, incense, and dye that has been used across ancient cultures for thousands of years. This plant rarely blooms, but when it does, its flower blooms at night and emits smells that attract night pollinators, like moths. 🦇

How to fertilize Dracaena "Warneckii'
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.

To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Dracaena "Warneckii' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Yesterday, my dracaena's leaves were looking a little droopy and curly. Gave it a bottom water with distilled water, and a day later, they're back to looking their usual selves 🙂 As a newbie with house plants, it's still so interesting to me how much or how quickly they can change from day to day. #HappyPlants #CornstalkDracaena

Help! What are these bugs and how do I get rid of them? Its been a month since I brought this dracaena home and I just noticed these little wormy looking bugs coming out of the bottom of the pot after watering from the bottom. #Dracaena

Brown Splitches and Drying Up Tops #Dracaena I recently received this plant from my workplace and I don't know anything about plant care. I don't know what these splotches are and what's happening up at the top. It looks almost like it's drying out, but the leaves are fine. It's slowly spreading. Two of the stalks already turned yellow so I went ahead and disposed of those to be safe. It was getting unfiltered water and way too much sun. I have since switched to filtered water and reduced the sunshine. However, it is still continuing. I'm at a loss at this point. I'd like this plant to survive!

Dracaena getting yellow/brown/black spots One of my dracaenas was starting to get a couple of yellow spots a couple weeks ago, but seems to have taken a turn for the worse since repotting 9 days ago. The black spots in particular showed up maybe 3 days ago. Does this look like leaf spot disease, or maybe something else? I'm not sure how to fix it 😞 More info: it's in a terracotta pot with well draining cactus/succulent potting mix (which is dry now, last watered 9 days ago) mixed with some perlite and horticultural charcoal I had sitting around, and a little bit of Bonide granules mixed in as insecticide. I had watered a couple of times with bottled water, but switched back to distilled water when I repotted. #Dracaena #help #helpneeded #plantdoctor #Dyingplant

Why are my Dracaena leaves turning black? I just got this Dracaena last week. It was really root bound so I repotted it and now I noticed the leaves are turning black. What did I do wrong? Thank you! #Dracaena #blackleaves #sickplant #help #helpneeded

Seeing a little bit of new growth from Aristotle! Though he's also got some tiny black spots on a couple of his leaves - I watered with tap water last time, and I'm hoping that could have been the cause (I have some distilled water for next time)... either that or it's some disease I can't identify. Otherwise he seems to be doing okay so far, despite me having no idea what I'm doing 😅 #CornstalkDracaena #NewGrowth

Trunk was hollow, but 1 branch seemed healthy. Cut it off and put in water. Will it grow roots? Tips on getting it to root? #Dracaena
