About Dieffenbachia 'Panther'
Dieffenbachia was cultivated in England before 1759 and upper Amazon indigenous groups are known to have used their calcium oxalates to make poison arrows. Dieffenbachia flowers can generate large amounts of excess heat which botanists believe attracts potential pollinators to the flower's warmth. 🐝

How to fertilize Dieffenbachia 'Panther'
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.

To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Dieffenbachia 'Panther' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I live in S. California in the high desert. I put her on my patio because it had too many tiny aphids. Can she be an outdoor plant? Lost a lot of rich leaf color and dropping . #Dieffenbachia

what’s wrong with my dieffenbachia? found mealybugs a few days ago so i quarantined Effan (my dieffenbachia) and first round was sprayed down GENEROUSLY with water/alcohol and the next day I went through each stem with a alcohol soaked Q-tip to get any babies or eggs missed in the spray down. He still looked sad last evening so i put a little water and fertilizer in his self watering pot. BUT he still looks miserable and now has yellowing leaves. He’s been doing well until now. #Dieffenbachia #DieffenbachiaBatch #HappyPlace #DieffenbachiaDugout

Until 3 years ago I would kill all plants I owned. But i was gifted a mixed planter. Some of those plants was my dieffenbachia. I am proud to say that I have kept her alive and she has even decided to flower for me. #happyplants #flowering #dieffenbachia

(fiancé think I came back for her but it was for my plants 😂 😆) Jaime has 8 new leaves! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #Dieffenbachia

Elphaba is turning yellow on the bottom. I can’t figure out if I’m over or under watering her. I thought maybe the bottom leaves just weren’t getting sun, so I put a grow light on the bottom for an hour at 25% tonight. Any suggestions? #yellowingleaves #Dieffenbachia

His leaves are very droopy after I overwatered him. Wanted to let him dry out after repotting but it’s been a week and he still looks sad. Any help would be great. #Dieffenbachia
