Perennial Alyssum Mountain Gold Ground Cover Seeds - Yellow (Alyssum montanum)
Open Pollinated, Non-GMO,
Minimum 25 seeds per package.

Mountain Alyssum is a perennial ground cover with evergreen foliage. It is excellent in rock gardens, and can be used in borders, or even as a container flower with other alpine plants and smells so pretty.

This is a popular rock garden perennial for the spring garden. Alyssum Montanum establishes itself easily from flower seeds sown directly outdoors. It forms a low, trailing mound of silvery-gray leaves, and it produces a mass of bright-yellow flowers in mid to late spring. Alyssum plants benefit from a light trim after blooming to maintain a bushy habit, and they require good drainage.

Alyssum thrives best in dry, rocky soil and has a preference to full sun although it will tolerate light shade. After sowing Alyssum seeds, maintain adequate moisture to ensure germination and establishment, but once Mountain Gold Alyssum is established, it is drought tolerant. This is a perennial for every flower garden!

Make sure you plant when it is warm outside. If spring planting, frost season should be over and night time temps staying in the upper 40's or warmer. If late summer planting, make sure you have 8 - 10 weeks before frost season begins.
