Manhattan Women's Lacrosse Looks to Remain Undefeated at Home

RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Manhattan women's lacrosse returns home this week to host Marist for their conference home opener.

This week, Manhattan (3-5) will first host Marist (1-6) and then will hit the road again later in the week, traveling to Rider (6-2).

The first game this week will take place at home at Gaelic Park against Marist this Saturday. The all-time series between Manhattan and Marist has the Jaspers trailing 12-7. Manhattan is on a two-game losing streak over the Red Foxes. The Jaspers are 5-3 against Bryant at home. Last time out, Manhattan played Bryant on April 5, 2023, with a 10-9 loss. 

The Red Foxes will be coming into this match after losing their previous game against the University of Connecticut. This was their largest defeat of the season, as they fell to the Huskies 17-3.

Later in the week, the Jaspers travel to Lawrenceville, N.J. to take on the Broncs on Wednesday. This will be the first time the Jaspers and the Broncs have gone up against each other. 

Before coming into this game, the Broncs will have to face off against Siena this Saturday. Most recently, the Broncs were edged by Kennesaw State, dropping the game 16-13.

The Jaspers will be coming into this game after a heavy defeat against Coastal Carolina University, dropping the match 15-3. Olivia Cruthers leads the Jaspers in goals this season with 16.
