Has the Same Abilities as Other Characters

Unlike previous games, Blue Toad has the same abilities as other characters.

The only difference playing as Blue Toad is his appearance and voice, and how he looks like when transformed by power-ups such as the Elephant Fruit or by Wonder Effects.

Can Use Power-Ups

Blue Toad can use power-ups that you can find around the stage, such as Fire Flowers and the Elephant Fruit! This grants Blue Toad new abilities and attacks, and even a new appearance!

How to Play as Blue Toad

Great for Any Course

Since Blue Toad has the same abilities as the other characters except the Yoshis and Nabbit, they are a great choice for almost any course in the game.

We recommend using Blue Toad on courses that has a lot of power-ups or requires a specific power-up to access new areas and get all the collectibles.
