Again, something from my archive, from the period when I was building models from RPM, that means different variants of the Lorraine 37L, or Renault UE. Model of a mobile rocket launcher on a lorraine 37L chassis used by the German army as Sd.Kfz. 135. The model is painted with brush.

Lovely build and interesting subject! You should be proud of the result. :) I also hand brush my models and so find it especially interesting to see the work of other modelers who hand brush.

The meandering green lines look great! One technique I use that I find helpful (perhaps something to experiment with in future builds?) is to overpaint the entire model, including the green wavy lines, with a VERY thin layer of the dark yellow/tan base color, which would involve using generous amounts of thinner. Lightly overpainting in this way may help blend in both colors. I also find that when brushing on the meandering lines or any mottling effect, wiping off excess wet paint on a newspaper (rather than using lots of thinner) produces a nice result. The issue I sometimes have with using too much thinner when applying any kind of mottling is that the paint tends to build up along the sides of the mottles rather than appearing more evenly distributed.

Anyhow, your model looks amazing, and I look forward to seeing your future builds Outstanding work!

Regards,
Jon
