Legendary feminist filmmaker Tahmineh Milani is no stranger to stories of women’s marital struggles. Untaken Paths, her fourteenth feature, tells the story of a young woman in love who marries against the wishes of her family. She is challenged when her nascent marriage is thrown into trouble because of the couple's roots in different social strata. The film explores issues including domestic violence and women’s resistance.

Partow NoorialaPartow Nooriala, born in Tehran, is an Iranian Poet, writer, and a literary and film critic. She taught Philosophy at Tehran University and has published five poetry books, a collection of critiques, and many short stories.

Nelly Farnoody ZahiriDr. Nelly Farnoody-Zahiri is a Clinical Psychologist who has specialized in working with Cross-Cultural Families in Los Angeles for 18 years. She is the author and founder of the International Center for Peace Learning and MomTalk LA.

Abbas HadjianAbbas Hadjian is a bilingual California Certified Family Law Specialist whose practice concerns litigation of complicated Family Law issues. He is an expert in Iranian Civil and Family Law Procedure.
