Winter Camp on the Bruce Peninsula
Wake up and breathe in the crisp, fresh air as you take in your surroundings on the Bruce Peninsula. Staying in a yurt at Bruce Peninsula National Park includes:

Day 1
Stay in a yurt at Bruce Peninsula National Park. A yurt is a tent-like structure on a wooden frame that offers cozy and comfortable shelter during the colder weather. Enjoy stargazing through the skylight dome as you go to sleep. Here, you are surrounded by trees and have access to the best hiking and views.
Day 2
Layer up and head outside for a hike, taking in the crisp air and landscapes. Strap on some cross-country skis or lace up some snowshoes and explore the trails in the Grotto area including Cyprus Lake Trail, Georgian Bay Trail, Marr Lake Trail and Horse Lake Trail. Take in the rugged shores of the Peninsula and look out to the crystal-clear waters.
After your hike, make your way to Tobermory and take a walk around the harbour and enjoy a delicious dinner at Tobermory Brewing Company or Pharos at the Princess Hotel. For information on businesses that are open in Tobermory, please visit the Tobermory Chamber website.
Day 3
On your way out, it doesn’t end here. Make your way south to Lion’s Head for breakfast (or lunch) at Rachel’s Restaurant. Visit the lighthouse and see the lion shaped rock formation that gives the town its name. Connect with nature and take in the incredible scenery on a hike on Lion’s Head Trail, which is part of the Bruce Trail. After your hike, visit The Shops at 84 Main which include Aunt Donkey’s, The Dandy Lion and Murdle’s Mercantile to shop for great gifts and goodies.
