Battery grip isn’t comfortable and may have destroyed camera’s electronics

Battery grip worked but may have messed up the electronics in my camera after a few weeks as the camera stopped working. The grip was not comfortable or deep enough to hold with support. Also my hand would hit the cable that had to be plugged in, causing discomfort. I ended up replacing my D780 with a Nikon Z6 mark 2 that has a native Nikon grip. I do not recommend this product.
