Black-capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus)

These wonderful little birds are starting to build nests on my farm right now. The base of the nests are moss and then they add fur. They look very cosey.

  1. We put Maggie’s fur out after I brush her and watch the little chickadees carry mouthfuls away.
