Happy Woman Crush Wednesday! Today we’re honoring a gal who’s had one of the most successful TV careers of the 2000’s, and we’re all better for it. Elisha Cuthbert, we’ve been crushin’ on you!

WHO’S THAT GAL: Elisha Cuthbert

WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: With part 4 of The Ranch premiering this week on Netflix, it’s caused us to get all reflective and realize what a total comedic force Elisha has been. She’s transcended her adorable, petite stature with big, big laughs. She made eyes bulge first starring film role as a porn star in The Girl Next Door, gave us belly laughs in Happy Endings, and is a welcome presence on The Ranch. Not to mention, we went through pretty much every emotion possible during her stint on 24. She’s a gal we love watching on-screen, and totally wish we could brunch with IRL.

ABC

WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: The Canadian actress made her big breakthrough in the States with the Nickelodeon series Are You Afraid of the Dark?. She followed that up with roles in three classic films, Old School, Love Actually, and The Girl Next Door. She got her horror flick phase on in the mid-aughts with 2005’s House of Wax opposite Chad Michael Murray and Paris Hilton, as well as The Quiet and Captivity. You can also see her in the rom-coms My Sassy Girl with Jesse Bradford, and The Six Wives of Henry Lefay with Tim Allen.

Elisha spent nine years on the mega hit show 24 as Kim Bauer, Jack Bauer’s (Keifer Sutherland) daughter. She also starred in The Forgotten series with Christian Slater and appeared in the Seann William Scott movie Just Before I Go.

Perhaps some of her best, and most memorable acting work came over the three seasons she starred in Happy Endings as Alex Kerkovich, Sure, the character was a bit clueless, but Elisha was super smart to not shy away from the physical comedy and delightful dorkiness Alex required.

Earlier this year, she also appeared in Goon: Last of the Enforcers, the sequel to the 2011 hit hockey flick.

WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER AGAIN: Starting this Friday, you’ll be able to see Elisha once again in part 4 of the Netflix comedy, The Ranch. Opposite Ashton Kutcher, Elisha stars as sassy teacher, Abby. But if we’ve learned anything, it’s that anytime we get to see her flexing those bubbly comedy chops, we’ll be watching.
